I am in this group. Between decaying eyesight and the other indignities of aging, my skills are slowly eroding. There are now some days when I cannot field strip a pistol due to decreased grip strength, and less rounds are always shot before fatigue and/or pain take hold. Perceived recoil is more of an issue than it was.

I have been chasing both SW and HW fixes, but the reality is that I will lose this battle. It is just a matter of when. I tell myself that day is tomorrow and not today and keep working on being a better shooter -- or at least not a worse one.

Hmmmm, interesting concept! I might need to consider it myself.

There are still stainless Valor Commanders in 9mm about for good prices.

There is also the P250 .380 if you can find one.

How many times a day have you told yourself that?

This next gun should complete my collection.

I’m going to concentrate on the guns I already have and ignore whatever the latest trend is.

I'm not buying another gun until I sell the ones I'm no longer shooting.
