    @blues

    I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and, doggone it, people like me.

    Good news if everything they thought wouldn't happen, did. (beat the odds)
    It also means I can now think of going back to the range. (been months, planned on going right before I found out and thought/learned I may need to be tested for organ donation) No Idea @Nephrology, but I figured best to keep lead and anything foreign out of Kidney's in case of donation.

    Mine is some day, I won't think that line from Monty's Python's song is accurate. (Life's a piece of shit, when you look at it)
    I'm a little confused by what you wrote, but I'm presuming this person was listed for renal transplant but is no longer eligible for some reason? If so, very sorry to hear that.

    If they are still listed for transplant and you are considering donating (which is a wonderful, admirable and selfless thing to do), I am 99% certain they don't test serum lead levels in donor workup. Even if they did, shooting outdoors or in a well ventilated shooting range shouldn't substantially increase serum lead levels. Wash your hands after you shoot with Gojo or similar and you'll be fine.

    Also, my contribution based on recent experience:

    That's actually a pretty admirable goal. I just wish that Guerrera wouldn't freak if I worked up to that level.

    Oh... and a .22 also.

    A .22 rifle and a .22 pistol.

    Oh... and...
