    I would too, but the max chamber pressure for .45-70 is actually less than a .44 Magnum, so I imagine that the brass-walled leverboi will be just fine.

    Also I fuckin' want one.

    If Henry were to offer this rifle with an octagonal barrel, case hardened reciever and steel end cap on the forearm instead of a barrel band, I'd take a serious look.

    According to the Henry website, it has 14" LOP. That is a major plus. I own a vintage Marlin 1895GS in .45-70, and it is way too short for me.
