This shell belt is made with the same durable loops used in the Vang Comp side saddle cards, meaning it is extremely durable and reliably holds shells. This is great for keeping shells on you for hunting, for having a source for shells in a shotgun class, or for throwing on if you need to deal with a short term disruption in social order with a shotgun as your primary long gun.
It will come in handy for me for hunting and presenting classes.

Good question. I'm not sure. Looking at it I don't see an easy way to mount a belt style holster to it. I ordered supplemental shell holders on my belt so mine likely will not have room for a holster...but, for me, if I can get a box of shells and my med kit on there it's going to work for class.

You could mount a holster to the belt if you wanted to. I mounted a Safariland mid ride just for grins. Not a stiff belt at all but not bad. The back of the entire belt is the soft velcro so adjustments are easy. A smaller waisted person may not have as room for extras on the belt as someone with a 36 or larger waist. That said you could double up through a belt loop as shown below. At the present I don't see myself mounting a holster to the belt. I like the fact that is isn't too stiff and may order a 20 gauge belt for upland hunting.
How are you planning on adding the med kit?
Will adding it cover over a few shell loops in the back?
I like that idea (and the med kit) for a nightstand "grab and go" set up.
