    Deadliftember

This was a couple days ago. Not my all time PR but what I can do right now after getting soft and lazy.

I am laying out a challenge for any willing participants to hit a new goal by the end of December. That's an 8 week cycle. Whose up for it?

I'm not sure if I want to shoot for 585 or 495 for a certain amount of reps. Ive pulled 585 years ago and 495 maybe 3 years ago. We'll see.

Well Sorinex does a Deadcember. Runs just like Squatober. I planned on getting a bigger trap bar to go heavier but I will probably just add a heavy band for extra resistance.

    ETA - That EJ!

I think I need more than 1 month to do anything productive.

I was thinking of shooting for on week 1.
    315x20
    2
    365x15
    3
    405x12
    4
    425x10
    5
    445x8
    6
    455x8
    7
    495x5
    8
    545x1

That'll at least give me a PR I haven't hit in a while.

I added 50lbs to my deadlift last Deadcember. Highland Games Champion Daniel McKim programmed it last year.

I can see that some of you boys are corn fed. Somebody put cuffs on the big'um with the pup avatar. Let's see if he can strip them.

    Way to go guys

I'm happy when I do 250 but I'm more of a sprinter than a lifter.

I’ve gotten 19 with 315.......if you add all my lifts together.

19 with 315 is good stuff. I bet it didn’t feel good though.

Squats and deadlifts are great for sprinting. I love doing 10, 100 yard sprints with just enough break to walk back 100 and start again. Got my mile down to low 5minutes.
