    Old S&W 38spec.revolver

I have an old 38spec. with interchangeable barrels. The thread in the gun need to be retapt, but I can't figure out the tap size. The barrels look like 13mms with 32 tpi or pitch. Does anyone know for sure?

Are you sure it's not a Dan Wesson?

Is the cylinder release behind the cylinder or in front of it?

    Pics or it's not real.

I'm betting this is a Dan Wesson as well.

    38 spec. barrels

You guys are correct, it is Dan Wesson 38. Has three barrels, 2" 4" 6" only have the 4" barrel will not screw into body. Threads on barrel ok , don't want to cross thread by screwing barrel in. Can't determine threads on barrel. Checked with thread gauge, 32 tpi. that's all I know, could they be metric?
