The fugitive leader of the Islamic State (IS) group has been killed in a US military operation in northwest Syria, President Donald Trump has said.
Speaking from the White House, Mr Trump said Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi detonated his suicide vest during a raid by special forces late on Saturday.

Especially at the operational tempo those guys are running. It says a lot about the nature of selection and training for those units and how dedicated and hard they work. I think it also says a lot about the support those units are receiving. Better technology in terms of things like armor and night vision combined with better intel support, etc. We've come along way since the 'Horse Soldiers' in the opening days of the GWOT.
