A few years ago a judge in Lake County Illinois ( just north of Chicago ) was arrested after she was observed by the Police stealing lawn signs in the early morning hours that her opponent had legally placed on peoples lawns. She was charged and had to make several court appearances. Don't know what happened with the case.

I had the opposite problem, because my late wife wasn’t white, I found signs for reprehensible lefties planted in my front yard.
They make decent, but short lived target stands.
