PMag generations?

I apparently suck at search today. That's fairly unusual for me, so please cut me some slack. I've used the Google box and failed to come up with the thread where we discussed the easy way to distinguish older generations of PMags from the latest ones with improvements that have (possibly) better reliability. I want to sort the ones I have into old and new.
