For a more precision-oriented build, the Seekins Procomp 10X stock is my favorite. PA has them on sale for $119.

I really want to get my hands on the new B5 PRS stock:

Anyone have experience with both that and the SL-K?
https://www.magpul.com/products/moe-...stock-mil-spec
It's 2.1 ounces heavier by the mfr. specs, but I was thinking about having one or the other on a woods gun, and the idea of snagging the Battlelink on a branch or something made me lean toward SL-K. I imagine that having that hook on a door jamb or something when you're already out of a vehicle and expect the carbine to be coming right along with you could go wrong in a couple ways. Of course, I'm just imagining, because I've never had to pile out of a vehicle in a hurry while holding a carbine.

Not another dime.
I have the SL-K on my work rifle (11.5“ Colt/BCM) and the MFT on a lightweight 14.5” p&w home built. The SL-K feels like a mini version of a sturdy stock, while the the MFT feels full-sized but skeletonized. As an example- I have no concerns with mortaring the SL-K as long as it’s collapsed, the MFT... not so much. I like both for their respective roles.
Anything I post is my opinion alone as a private citizen.
I have an SL-K. It's a good light weight minimalist stock, but it definitely rattles on the buffer tube. The rattling doesn't really bother me, but I know it's an issue to some. As an FYI, the SL-K doesn't have the internal springs that prevent rattle like the full size SL and SL-S versions have.
I like the B5 Bravo for light weight but the BCM is supposed to be more durable so that's what I use, unless I need to balance a front heavy gun, then I like the B5 SOPMOD.
I switched over to the B5 Sopmod on two ARs and love them. The cheekweld is great and they are tight on the buffer tube. Put an SB4 on the AR pistol since it seemed the closest thing to the B5 shape.
I've used all three; SL > SL-K > MFT
The SL locks up far better than the K. And by the time you add a mlok QD socket, the K looses it's weight advantage.
The MFT locked up tight, but I didn't like the QD location or the open toe. It hung up on my shirt/jacket too much.
My AR leaves plenty to be desired by those with refined tastes, and truth be told there are a few important changes I'd like to make as well.
I've never thought the stock to be one of them. Perhaps I'm simply not educated enough, or am of an "old school" train of thought with regards to stocks.
