IIRC, back in the day there was a music video that MTV played of that sang that got some criticism for its use of real footage. Not sure but I think it may have been this:

I don't doubt it. Parents probably didn't want their kids exposed to "real life". Let's coddle them, and they'll grow up to be okay.
