    Gads, why did they use that hideous off the shelf generic Numrich front sight and leave that ugly gap under the blade?

    Ive used one on a rifle once, but reshaped the blade and base and there was no gap between the blade and barrel. Theres better off the shelf options for the same style effect, or they could have spent a small amount of time making it vastly better looking, especially at that price point.

    Its a very cool gun with the original style pistol-carbine type rear sight, just aghast they used that front sight.

    I had one of the Colts with 12" barrel, it shot really well, almost like cheating. Another regret about selling.

    I've seen a version of this done by USFA before they folded their tent. The front sight on that one was done correctly.
