    Junior Brown: “Party Lights”. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=kcG8mP17O74
Arlo Guthrie: “The Motorcycle Song” and “Alice’s Resturant”
    Jim Croce: “Five Short Minutes”

If you extend to musicals, there’s “Gee Officer Krupke” from “West Side Story.”

Do you want Old West themed songs, like Marty Roberts “Big Iron”?

    Johnny Rivers: “Secret Agent Man”
(Implied) Pink Floyd: “Run Like Hell”

Since Junior Brown keeps coming up might as well add this one:

"You're wanted by the po-lice, and my wife thinks your dead" [emoji41]
Fun trivia: the blond in the video is Gwendolyn Gillingham. She's 6'7", and has a sister that's like 6'5". They both ended up playing at Division 1 colleges. My wife played basketball and volleyball against them both in high school back in the day. Since Mrs.A was the "tall girl" on her team at 5'10", she had some long and discouraging games against those two.

    Some historical ones:

Julius Daniels, 99 Year Blues, recorded 1927

Another one with the same title, recorded in 1932 by early country legend Jimmie Rodgers, 99 Year Blues

and Police Dog Blues by Blind Blake, recorded in 1929
(Not strictly fitting, but a great tune by one of the Masters.)

Man, I forgot how good "My Wife Thinks You're Dead" is.
"If I ever needed to hunt in a tuxedo, then this would be the rifle I'd take." - okie john

"Not being able to govern events, I govern myself." - Michel De Montaigne

Eric Clapton, I Shot the Sheriff

    Sam Cook, Chain Gang

I forgot to mention prison work songs which I have heard sung by the unfortunate bastards hoeing cotton and digging ditches. There are recordings archived by researchers. Google will show many. Start with Mississippi and Texas. Looking within the Deep South states would reveal a great number.

"Been On The Job Too Long" by Dave VanRonk comes to mind.

Evidently from an actual incident in St. Louis.

    "Twinkle, twinkle shiny star,
Along comes Brady in his 'lectric car.
Knockin' on the windows and knocking down the door.
And now he's lyin' dead on the bar room floor.
He's been on the job too long..."

"Big Iron" by Marty Robbins immediately came to mind when reading the OP.

Maybe all that time I wasted playing "Fallout:New Vegas" will be useful after all...
