    Mass stabbing in Florida

    Prayers for the victims:

Tallahassee police are investigating a stabbing at Dyke Industries in an industrial park off Hartsfield Road. There are reports of multiple victims being hospitalized, but the extent of their injuries is unknown.

Sensible pocket knife style weapon control laws would have prevented this.

Must have been a gun free zone:

Police say he used a small, folding pocket knife-style knife in the stabbing. His fellow employees armed themselves with what they could and held Brown at bay during the attack.

Sympathies to the victims, but it's Florida - what happened to saying, "Hold my beer and watch this," then promptly throat punching the dude, followed by vigorous groinal area stompage?

But, really, in a town where the chief's name is Outlaw, what do you expect?

The story got a lot of coverage here, but then we're on the Panhandle.

It was the top story on the local news, and I think it was one of the lead stories on ABC World News Tonight.

Thanks. Only heard about it while it was reportedly in-progress out here.

Staring down to the barrel of a move to that area and I'm really, really longing for the civility of the south and the relative boredom of the Midwest.
