Uh....they all seem pretty close to the same length, even a handgun extended in a non-compressed shooting stance is a similar length:
    Indeed.

And shotguns above all other guns is particularly useful when short-stocked. It's easy to make the gun shorter to fit into tight spaces and with the right recoil mitigation you can use the weapon effectively that way at the kind of distances where you need the gun to be shorter.

Stick to Benelli or Beretta and you won't find them lacking at all.

Even a Super Nova pump costs more than a $300 PSA AR15.

    But then again, since I wouldn’t trust a $300 AR, a $450 Nova isn’t really that expensive.

Then you fall into the "more expensive or limited aftermarket" pitfalls

Benelli M2 probably has the most robust aftermarket support of any shotgun out there.
As to expensive... the floor for reliability starts relatively high when it comes to shotguns, especially semi-autos.
Remington and Mossberg are piles of shit that will cost way more than a Benelli or Beretta in the long term if you shoot much at all and demand absolute reliability.

For the price ive seen most m2's go for, you could easily buy a quality AR, and a few accessories.

Money doesn't go very far when it comes to shotguns

    And?

btw: "quality" AR's start at a lot higher price point than many people like to think.
No... your $300 PSA is not a quality AR no matter what the other cheapskates try to tell you.

You get what you pay for. Money doesn’t go very far when it comes to duty / defense grade ARs either.

Great that your $300 PSA works but it is just as much a crap shoot as as a $300 Mossberg or Remington Express.

Yes, I'm aware what a quality ar costs.as for psa, i didn't even mention them in my previous post.

A 6920 is what, 800? Thats pretty damn cheap for a gas operated, newly made rifle

Point stands, a high quality ar15 is cheaper than a high quality semi auto shotgun
