Watching the ATT shooter again makes me think that "Florida Man" is too generic. For example, when we in Florida read, "Hialeah Man..." or "Polk County Man..." we already have a good idea what the story is about. Subspecies is important.

LOL! That would be an excellent, (albeit exhausting), study in taxonomy.

Then we can move on to various LE departments in FL for shits and grins...

As you're well aware, Miami-Dade itself would take quite a bit of work.

Hey, hey, hey leave Polk out of this. In the TB media market we have Pasco for making fun of.

One of the first "Florida Man" prototypes I met back in the late 80's while booking in another prisoner at the old Dade County Jail. Strange friggin' dude. (As if I have to say that.)

Florida man “afraid his car might blow away,” so he parked it in their kitchen.

Looks like he washed it in hot water too many times.

Years ago we used to have a smartcar franchise, we replaced many panels due to hooligans going smartcar tipping.

Ah yes, shooting/knifing the tires of a vehicle you want moved. A classic of rational thought.

    Agreed.

I don’t get the “Floridaman” stuff.

Every time I hear “Floridaman” on the news he has a very strong New York or Boston accent.
