This sounds like something from the plot of a bad B-movie. Who would steal a mail carrier's truck and use it to randomly shoot people? Hope local LEOs can quickly stop these idiots.

They had mentioned reports of police firing on one vehicle, and possible one person in custody from somewhere else. General mass confusion for the most part though.
The shooter in the stolen USPS van is in custody, looks like a cop rammed him off the road. Hopefully there was a shootout and he's dead.

Midland Mayor claims one Midland officer and one DPS officer shot.
Just updated to three officers shot, no word on condition.
