Well Aaron snuck Benchtober in on us. I added 30 pounds to my bench this month for 305.

I was absolutely smoked by the time I got to my final set of squats. I took 235 to the danger zone.

Yeah the 5x10s sucked, and I wasn't even doing real weight like Hizzie. But at least we got to do 5 minutes of wall sits to cool down [emoji52]
I ended up at 195 on bench (up about 25 lbs). I think I had another 5 or 10 lbs but I didn't want to have a bigger bench than squat, even though it's not by much and they're both crap anyway [emoji16]
Great way to finish the month, I'm really pleased. Pretty excited to see where press and deadlift are now; I'll probably do that Sunday.

Well crap, I’ll be 6,000 swings into the Dan John 10k swing challenge on 10/1. Have to decide if I want to bail early and try this.
What was the workout frequency and length last year?
I am doing a bench program @Robert Mitchum gave. Also I am doing a 20 rep squat program two times a week, with a goal of doing 315 x 20. If it all works out, the 315 goal should be hit in October.
You guys doing the hardcore squatober workout are more disciplined than I. It's a choice, I know, but still you make that choice to really do awesome things in the gym.
Good luck to you.
Mon-Fri, October 1-31.

I was looking forward to trying out squatober... but my doctor thinks I might have a rotator cuff tear, and my MRI to confirm isn't till mid october. Im probably going to be getting bands and stuck with occupational therapy for awhile.
