Picked up a gen 3 slide and frame, at a good price. Have slide and frame parts and a barrel on the way.

Lone wolf barrel, OEM slide parts and aftermarket frame parts. Both midway and brownells were out of stock on the OEM frame parts. Still need to order a gadget.

It does not seem like it will be too hard to get running. Any gotchas that I should be aware of?

The only gotcha I see is the frame. Appears to be an rtf2. If you carry that iwb without an undershirt it will most certainly getcha. I only wear mine owb now, and even then only with certain fabrics as it has the properties of a cheese grater and Velcro all in one.

Yes it does have an aggressive texture. Might put some talons on it.
