Wow.
I want one of those.
I was into 10mm Auto before it sold out and went mainstream, but these days I'm here for the revolver and epidemiology information.
Nice grouping. When I find guns like this I have a hard time walking away from them.
We may lose and we may win, but we will never be here again.......
Wow and wow. What a great find. The price was reasonable considering what K frame .38s go for without original Hogues and custom work.

Beware of my temper, and the dog that I've found...
My first foray into competition was shooting PPC with a 6" Smith 686. I remember the various full-rib K-frames that some competitors would show up with. I don't hear of many PPC competitions any more, but I'm sure these guns are out there. Seeing a precursor to the full-rib guns is very interesting. Thank you for posting and congrats on a great find.

This thread prompted me to look for PPC matches in my area. So far no luck.
Tried some SWC loads yesterday. Gun seems to like Remington ammo, both the wadcutters (RTG38S3) & standard velocity semi-wadcutters (RPW38S6). Shot at 20 yards off the bench with the Remington SWC, 1.125" with 4 in .5":
Magtech's LSWC 38J also did well, putting 5 rounds into 1.625" with 4 of them in .75".

Don't ya just hate those single flyers that ruin otherwise brilliant groups? Bet everyone on here has had them from time to time. (smile)
