Sweet Baaaby Jesus!
Working diligently to enlarge my group size.
Love it! Guy Hogue is the first thing that came to my mind seeing the grips.
Just a Hairy Special Snowflake supply clerk with no field experience, shooting an Asymetric carbine as a Try Hard. Snarky and easily butt hurt. Favorite animal is the Cape Buffalo....likely indicative of a personality disorder.
"If I had a grandpa, he would look like Delbert Belton".
That was my best guess as well.
I also snagged a pair of stocks off ebay that I think were made by Stark. Made for a cut K frame with RH thumb rest and has what I believe to be the distinctive “Stark” profile for the little finger. Wood is much plainer than you generally see with Farrant made stocks. I’ll post a pic shortly.
The first indication a bad guy should have that I'm dangerous is when his
disembodied soul is looking down at his own corpse wondering what happened.
Envy...it’s a thing!
Would it be gauche to ask how much that little jewel cost?
I was into 10mm Auto before it sold out and went mainstream, but these days I'm here for the revolver and epidemiology information.
It cost more than I wanted to spend, but slightly less than I was prepared to spend. A few bucks under $1K. I may be optimistic, but I think the stocks alone may be worth close to half what I paid.

Done away with when they installed the heavy barrel.

When I think about what it would cost in today's dollars to get that work done, I think it was a steal. That's just to screw one barrel out and screw another one in, without considering what any other action work, etc might cost.
A friend of mine and I were speculating about at what point will the high demand custom guns of yesterday become funky old stuff the kids don't want. Gunbroker listings like this one make me suspect it's coming soon.
