How much smaller is the SP101 vs the Security Six?

Found this on my Security Six today. Does this look like an issue to anyone?

It looks more like pitting to me, but can't tale if it's a crack.

I am thinking of selling the revolver, but I don't want to sell it without someone knowing what they are getting. May post it here, but wanted some opinions on this deal.

Does it actually go through to the firing pin hole? I can't tell because of the red line around it. However, to my wheelgun eye it looks like pitting, not a crack since there aren't lines coming off it.

I wouldn't worry about it. Just a minor cosmetic ding.

Thank you for your time and help.

One last question. Is it normal to get some unburnt powder blow back on your face when shooting .357 magnum ammo?

Depends on what you're shooting. It also might be tiny lead bits from slightly oversized bullets.

Think I was shooting monarch .357 158 grain. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't an obvious sign of a timing issue.

Checking the gun for timing issues, as I understand the process via instructions here and other net sources, does not seem to show timing issues.

Lead or FMJ? I’m not familiar with that brand of ammo so I can’t speak to its quality control.
