Glad he lived to 81, that’s how gunfighters should go.
I was greatly saddened when Bill's son called to tell me of his passing.

For those who occasionally debate the "competition will get you kilt in da streetz" thing, consider that Bill was a national champion pistol shot, an avid competitor during his Stakeout Unit days, never missed a man he shot at, and never stopped a bullet himself.
