Mec gar making (18 round) px4 mags?

I've seen these on several sites labelled "92/px4 mags"

Do they really work in px4s?

No experience, but just a quick check under the listing shows they are marked 92 series. Not sure if 92 series mags work with Px4, but my guess would be they do but probably not ideal.

92s and Px4s do not share magazines.

+1. My PX4 mags fit in the same mag holders as my M&P mags, the 92 mags are a good bit thinner.

It's a misprint. Mec-Gar doesn't list anything for the PX4 on their site.

The 92 uses the same mag body that came out in the 70’s. The PX4 uses a wider mag body. I think the APX uses the same body as the PX4, but it has a totally different retention system. NONE are compatible with any of the others.

The Cougar uses the same mag body as the 92, but the notches are slightly higher. It is easy to cut notches in other mags to make them work. I’ve got MecGar 18rnd 92 mags for my 9mm Cougar & 13rnd 96 Mags for my .40 Cougars.
