just saw this on Guns Week
another compact Surefire light? Was aware of the XR1 and 2 being dual bulbs but nothing this short. Any industry insiders in the know?

I will be all over that 43X-R.

I just bought a Glock 48 so of course this gets announced
@#$! YEAH! Super interested in the SF light also.
1. I'm always interested in smaller lights
2. I hope the NON-railed 43X and 48 don't disappear
3. Crimson Trace and Streamlight have demonstrated that you don't HAVE to have a rail to mount a light/laser...but it helps.
4. Where is my 43X subcompact? I need a replacement for my 43 before I get all the way on this train.
5. Remember all the great 8-round single stack 9mms from the 70s-80s? (SIG P6, HK P7, Walther P5) Well, they're back and they're better than ever!

I know I'm getting ahead of the gravy train but I didn't see a release date. Did anyone catch one?

This information may be old or totally wrong but I believe that there is NO US release date as of now.
I believe that the original information regarding these pistols was a flier for an overseas contract or release. I dont know if we are going to see these.
There is no reason why we shouldn't see them but Glock is friggin strange.
