For instance, just because you can have a bath in gasoline and light up a cig after doesn't mean it's a smart idea- it may be a once in a lifetime event.

Thanks. Saved me about 45 seconds of time. I don't think I would get farther than that.

Man, that really sums up how I go about my life via CC.
The stupidity of some people never ceases to amaze me.

    Prezactly.

Imagine the marching pussy-hatters had had a valid point or perspective that might not have occurred to people on the other side of the political fence. Minds changed with pussy hats = 0.

Compare the speeches of and civil rights marches led by MLK. And the conduct of those in the mainstream civil rights orgs/efforts, such as the dignity and strength of character displayed by Charlayne Hunter (Gault) and Hamilton Holmes at the University of Georgia. As it happens I think of it whenever I visit UGA, where my daughter went, and see the famous Arch next to where they were escorted in and, steps away, what is now named the Holmes Hunter Building. Think of what changed in terms of mindset in merely a generation.

Side note - when my daughter first expressed interest in UGA, setting aside Fran Tarkenton and Herschel Walker the only thing I associated with it was the story told by my uncle, whose first gig after rabbinical school was as director of the Hillel at UGA. He was there when Hunter and Holmes were escorted in and recounted how students and others screamed "go home, n****r b*tch." He said that's when he realized this is not the place for me, and not long thereafter went elsewhere. Going there with my daughter the first time, I recall thinking it seemed as if that had to have occurred 150 years before, not a mere 50 years before.

Another really side note/total thread drift - prior to my daughter's first year at UGA, if you had asked me what the SEC was I would have responded Securities & Exchange Commission. In November of her freshman year my wife and I looked at each other and said "what the f*ck" as we were engrossed in an Arkansas versus somebody game on a Saturday night.

Question: If you were in that store, visiting your daughter who worked there, what would you say to these guys?

I opine that skinny little guy's posture in low ready poses a threat. That they were posing is not a clue as some shooters are going live on social media (NZ).

I'd say nothing. I'd keep an eye on them until they left. (As unobtrusively as possible from the best vantage point of protecting her.)
There's nothing civil about this war.
