Amazon deal of the day, “indoor” grill

I’m tempted since Herself does the grilling in our house (I clean, it’s a good division of labor for us) and she gets tired of grilling in the southern heat of VA. Does anyone else have one of these? Is it truly smokeless?

I would personally pass on any iteration of an “Indoor Grill.”

Spend the money on good cast iron for indoor work.

A Japanese friend in Seattle had a tabletop/indoor grill that used butane cans. We cooked a few small steaks on it. Is using a butane indoors smart, I dunno?

I don’t have either one but the reviews are slightly better and it’s less expensive. I really liked my Zojirushi coffee maker.

However, I do have natural gas with an 18k BTU burner and a powerful range hood.
