I don't think I could ever get tired of Alaskan scenery. I can't wait to come back.
But anyways, tooling around Cave Creek on a Can Am today....
Fossilized dinosaur footprint, Clayton Lake State Park, NM:
Probably about another half in length and spread compared to my XL sized hand. Per the signage, print from an herbivore. Kind of amazing how the prints were discovered. When the dam was built to create the lake, the water flow washed away a covering layer of rock revealing hundreds of prints preserved in an underlying layer. A totally accidental discovery.
On the hunt for petroglyphs.

Most of the way up Mt. Lemmon. We drove up to a trailhead, then hiked some boulders my son recommended. Very excellent.
I think this was Sabino Canyon...
I was walking the trail in Sabino Canyon and see 3 people stopped ahead of me looking in the same direction. When I reached them, an excited teenager informs me there's a rattler in the path. Indeed there was. About 4 feet or so. Took his time moving off into the brush.
There's another guy, now to my right, approaching the snake, stomping his foot "at" the rattler. The teen and, I assumed, his mom are watching from way to the left. Stomping foot guy turns to me and says, excitedly, "I'm trying to get him to rattle!". And I replied "Why?", then moved left with the smart folks and exfiltrated the area di-di mau. Morons are everywhere.

I’ve ridden up Mt. Lemmon a few times on my bike and it’s a sweet ride. Coffee and pistachio fudge at the General Store in the town at the top are an awesome reward, too.
IIRC, my son raved about the ice cream cookies... Must have been closed on Sunday.. We drove past and not open. Next time!
That would be a GREAT 2-wheel road on a slow traffic day. I assume you meant motorcycle and not bicycle? Because bicycling up that road would require a mental health check. JK, JK.
There were a bunch of bicycle folks on the road, actually. Going up and down. Down seemed much funner.
