Evening bike ride = suburban deer, or at least it did tonight. (Between the light levels and the digital zoom on the phone, not the best pic, but I figured I'd share anyway.)
While rucking through a local park this morning, I saw a couple turtles getting some sun.
Nice! I very nearly ran a small one over on the same bike ride on which I saw the deer! Thankfully I missed the little guy/girl. Hopefully s/he stayed on the shoulder or went back into the nearby lake rather than wandering further into the road where there would be a risk of being run over by a car.
