    At the end of January I went to Glasgow MT to visit an old friend. Took a couple pics along the way.



    Might do a thread if I have a bit of time later, as the scenery was pretty dang nice. Note to anyone considering relocating; Montana is even prettier than Idaho!

    Bigger deer too!

    Didn't get a picture adequate to the trail. Solid lava rock, fissures running dozens of feet deep, collapsed lava tubes. And yet, life finds a way...
    I like the lava picture. I remember the Louis LAmour book with the finale in the Malpais lava beds. I think it was Ruble Noon.
    Just a dog chauffeur that used to hold the dumb end of the leash.

    The lava beds were really cool! I'll have to check out the book. I really haven't read much L'Amour. The only one I recall for sure is Last of the Breed which oddly is a non-western. I remember liking it though.
