So you stumble out to the deck for a wee bit of coffee and you spot a small spot of moss that wasn't there yesterday. Now you're thinking, dang that came up fast... Then it moves...

By mid-day they had shot a pilot line to the cable TV run a couple or three feet off from the deck, and started building out their ladder to freedom:
And by the next morning, they were gone... exfiltrated to wherever the cable lines took them.
