Silly P30 Question

What's the key/tool that comes in the hard case for? I did a quick look through the manual and didn't see any diagrams/etc showing its use.

lock out device ? (ref pg 34) FWIW, I never noticed it on my P30 either...

Bingo. The key turns a cylinder on the lanyard loop inside the mag well. When it's engaged the trigger can't be pulled and the slide will not cycle.

Thanks - those pages were stuck together, so I missed it. I guess I can put it in with my loose change, since it's not going to get any use...
