3 Dead (4 if you count the shooter) and multiple injured at Gilroy, CA Garlic Festival
The festival had security to include metal detectors and armed police present. However, the shooter cut through a section of the fence to gain entry. It took the police less than a minute to engage the suspect, yet the shooter was still able to kill or injure a not-insignificant number of people.

Well, the second round of democratic debates are coming up here shortly, I'm sure it'll be brought up there..I also like how the article displays it's firearm prowness with the comment that a SKS is a AK47 style assualt weapon.. I 'd like to know how they connected those dots..

Gov. Gavin Newsom blamed President Donald Trump and Republicans for a “culture of gun violence” during a Monday appearance in Gilroy, where a gunman killed three people at a food festival the night before.
The Democratic governor said the president has failed to provide moral leadership on the issue and take on the “machismo” culture perpetuating mass shootings.
“It’s just sickening... the leadership today that just turns a blind eye and won’t do a damn thing to address these issues,” he told reporters Monday, according to a transcript provided by his office. “What’s goddamned absent in this country right now is moral authority.”
There's nothing civil about this war.
To be intellectually honest and consistent, the Governor should push for legislation regulating and sale, transfer and possession of tools used to cut through fences. In the meantime, they need more security personnel and better fences.
The path of least resistance will seldom get you where you need to be.

As I said, this should be an interesting topic at the debates..Over on zerohedge there's a article about the upcoming debates that's saying that Harris, and Booker plan to jump all over Biden, over his past..The article also states Booker, and Harris are both polling near the bottom.. Biden has supposedly been spending the last 5 days or so preparing for the debates, the other two have been busy campaining, Might want to get the popcorn ready...
Maybe, 'ol Gavin ought to go back to San Fran, the city he used to be mayor of..and take a walk downtown, and try not to step on any needles or run into any piles of shit... moral authority my ass..
