Monday immediately after I picked up my pistol from the FFL, I dropped off my slide and Amerglo sights at the local Gander Mountain to have the 'smith install them. He calls me yesterday morning saying it was done. Cool, 1 day turn around. I go in last night after work to pick it up. Somehow, he managed to install the wrong rear sight. Different brand, different style, not even close. Of course, the gunsmith left at 4, I'm there at 5:30, and no notes on the work order, so no explanation whatsoever. It then took me 30 minutes going round and round with the manager trying to convince him that it wasn't my rear sight on there. We ended up on Google finding pictures of the Ameriglos, then trying to figure out what the 'smith installed. I ended up with my Ameriglo front, and a Trijicon SA37 rear. I left my slide and sights there, and I'm supposed to hear from the gunsmith and/or manager this morning to figure out how to fix this. Very, very frustrating.
