Thread: Brooklynites dump buckets of water on NYPD officers

The officer's making an arrest did the right thing and stayed with the arrest.

The (rookie) officer's who were just walking away and were splashed should have made the arrest for assault. This is a training issue which has a possible disguise of political correctness.

The ass-beating that would ensue would be spoken of in hushed tones a decade from now, were such an incident to occur. And I don't think it would be the po-po administering it, either. The general populace would come out swinging.

NYPD cops get drenched by buckets of water

This made me so angry when I saw it. Obviously a total lack of leadership at the top. These cops suffered abuse and humiliation that the previous generation would surely never have tolerated. The inmates are running the prison, it seems.

One of the first things my primary FTO taught me in the late 80s was NOBODY TOUCHES YOU. If they touch you they go to jail. He was trained by and worked with cops who’d been through the 60s and 70s. Somebody or multiple somebodies would’ve gone to jail even if most of the shift had to respond.

It’s concrete, acid with wax, and/or gasoline next. The next set of cops that has to go in there are going to have to deal with something that already should’ve been taken care of. The suspects who got away with assaulting those Rookie Officers will raise the stakes.

Video shows uniformed NYPD cop harassed on subway by foul-mouthed rider

This is only going to get worse and then the powder keg will blow.

Interfering with a Law Enforcement Officer, or however you phrase it in your locale.

I'm just not convinced that letting this ride is going to solve this issue, I'm afraid it will only continue to embolden this kind of behaviour.

The JBGC is only one of several armed Antifa groups. Other national armed Antifa groups include the Red Guards and the Socialist Rifle Association or SRA.

Not to mention Antifa is a loose coalition of anarchist groups. While they share common ideology they don’t really have a formal anything.

Talk to old school MYPD cops about “airmail” - objects dropped or thrown off rooftops onto police. An NYPD Officer was killed in the 1990s after a 5 gallon bucket of sparkle was dropped on his head from 30 stories up.

Molotov cocktails are a thing as well. ANTIFA hit a Seattle PD Officer with a Molotov during the 2016 May Day protests.
