    Like Tears in the Rain

Rutger Hauer passed away in his home in Netherlands after a short illness. He was 75. Dammit it’s dusty today.

    There's a name I haven't heard in some time.

    Godspeed.

And he used an H&K P7M8 in that movie, too (Wanted: Dead or Alive).

    Requiescat in pace.

"The candle that burns twice as bright only burns half as long. And you have burned very brightly, Roy."

Dr. Tyrell to Roy in Bladerunner.

Farewell, Roy. You burned very brightly indeed.

“Split Second” was a favorite of mine when I was young.
VERY ROUGH QUOTE (memory from 20+ years ago)
Supervisor (critical of him having so much military grade hardware): What, no grenade launcher?
Hauer: I couldn’t get the permit.

The Hitcher, Bladerunner, Wanted Dead or alive, Ladyhawk, all movies from my era that were iconic for me.
