Received. Initial observations are positive. Much smaller buckle than Ares Aegis, which solves the problem of printing with a few shirts. Actually makes shirt appear slightly larger, as it is not being pulled taut around the belt line by the buckle. Able to switch buckle position from 1:30 to 11, which is a positive as it will relieve a pressure point.

    Graith Sanmai.LV Belt

Quick review of the Sanmai LV that arrived today:

Summary: exceeds expectations. You have to try this belt.

When I took the LV out of the box, I thought “wow, this feels different from all my other belts.” It is very flexible—much more supple than I expected. However, it is very stiff in axial bending. In materials science jargon, it has anisotropic stiffness. I found this is a BIG deal functionally.

When I wore it with my JMCK AIWB holster and a P-07, I was shocked how light the gun felt. Like really noticeably lighter, and the belt was super comfortable without the usual bowing of the Specialist.

Buckle: I like it better than the QR buckle.

    Build quality: excellent

    Other comments:
The belt has a distinctive fragrance. Not bad, but noticeable. I’m guessing this will fade.

Ordered a Sanmai.LV along with a Specialist.Duty. If they're at least as good as my Specialist, then that's good enough.
