    https://foxbaltimore.com/news/local/...t-friday-might

Officials say the deputy commissioner for Baltimore City Police and his wife, were robbed at gunpoint Friday night.

The incident happened around 9 p.m. near Patterson Park in the city's southeast area.

The victim, Danny Murphy, was able to tell police that a white SUV with four people inside pulled up to them as they were walking. Police say, two black males, believed to be 18, got out of the SUV, showed a handgun and demanded the victims hand over their property.

A purse, wallet, and cellphones were taken.

Impossible. Maryland has very strict gun control laws.

And great respect for the police.
We could isolate Russia totally from the world and maybe they could apply for membership after 2000 years.

How's that "space to destroy" philosophy working out now?

You would think a Police Commissioner would have more sense than to walk in Soufeast Balmer at 9pm. Or anytime, really.

My great aunt lived at Bentalou Street in SW for many years, off Wilkens. I visited her once in the 90s with family. The neighbourhood had become quite diverse, even then. We, uh, stuck out.

Also, +1 on unpossible due to MDs "common sense" Gun Control regulations. I'm sure this is fake news.

Maryland's gun problem is Virginia's fault because our gun laws are so lax thanks to easy Internet purchases and that pesky gunshow loophole.

I knew there had to be some plausible explanation for this.

I'll have to admit, I got a bit of a chuckle out of this.. Having worked in Baltimore back in the 90's, out at Sparrows Point, I can honestly say it was one place I was glad to see in my rearview mirror..Baltimore was a shithole then, and it dosen't look like things have changed much..
