I loved my 3953, which I left in the care of a dear friend, on indefinite loan. I have not been actively searching for another 3rd-Gen S&W DAO auto, but just might act if one were to be available at the LGS, at a time when I did not have other significant irons in the financial fire. A 6946 would be as suitable a candidate as any of these S&W 9mm DAOs.
Now and then, I check the evil bay for the parts to convert my 3913 TSW to DAO. This is not a “goal,” but something I just might eventually try.
