Well thankfully, I ran out of consciousness before I did anything rash. It’s still there though...along with a similar 32-20.

I just have a soft spot for old Winchesters. Unfortunately, so does everyone else.

John Linebaugh builds a conversion that turns the 38-40 into a pocket rifle. It's supposed to move a 180gr XTP at 1,800 fps and a 200gr XTP at 1,600 fps.
