I always enjoyed seeing Rip. He passed today at 88, with a seven-decade acting career under his belt.

RIP, Rip.
There's nothing civil about this war.
That sucks! I enjoyed many of his roles, especially as Zed from MIB and Patches O’Houlihan from Dodgeball.
RIP Mr Torn!

At the early start of their careers, Burt Reynolds was sharing a place with Rip Torn. ( mismatched roomies)
I liked A variety of Torn's roles. "Slaughter " was not his best movie, but I liked it cause Stella Stevens had her clothes off , a couple of times.
R.I.P. Rip. ( prolly on his tombstone. )

I really liked Rip Torn.

I'd face it as a wise man would, And train for ill and not for good." -- A.E. Housman
I enjoyed him in everything I ever saw him in...but I flat out loved him in Extreme Prejudice!
My first recollection of watching Rip Torn in a movie is the terribly awesome 80's classic "The Beastmaster".
Yes, R.I.P., Rip.
I liked his sheriff character, in Extreme Prejudice, the most.
Retar’d LE. Kinesthetic dufus.
Don’t tread on volcanos!
