One of the theories is that the body of Neil Roberts was thought to be Chapman. That theory makes sense to me. I find it difficult to believe that the same team leader who went after Roberts could or would deliberately leave another team member behind.

Well....believe whatever makes you feel comfortable, but it’s simply not accurate. Slabinski also went on to showcase his character after that tragedy on the hill as well.

Article on Slabinski— though I have no idea how much of it is true:

I got the book for Christmas and just finished it. I thought it was excellent, though definitely sad, even though I knew how it would end.

    It was good for sure.

I hope the movie about this is well done.

Great read, but second half of the book was rough to get through for me.

Seems like the result of ego and failure of leadership.

    Respect and RIP.

I’ve read several books on Operation Anaconda, and none of them have been kind to the SEAL Team 6 upper leadership and some of the generals.

I just finished "Alone At Dawn." It is absolutely heart breaking.

Anything from the Intercept is suspect at best and more likely communist / ANTIFA propaganda.
