Independence Day: 4th of July: What Are You Listening To?

For some reason I've gotten into a routine of playing the Grateful Dead on the 4th of July for the past umpteen years.

Just something about their music that makes me feel happy, free and proud to be an American.

    What're you listening to?

    Now: Neighbors screaming.

This evening: The purr of jet engines taking me to work.

The soothing sounds of a police radio scanning later.
Just a dog chauffeur that used to hold the dumb end of the leash.

The sounds of a weed wacker. Hope I don’t have to run it again for a few weeks...
Don’t blame me. I didn’t vote for that dumb bastard.

In the desert, looking for water.
A panting Brittany. We just got back from a hike, and her is tired.

A tired dog is a good, happy dog.
