Just saying that meeting with Trump right now might have bad atmospherics. If the advocates of the RKBA in the White House or Congress cannot be trusted, well that's a charming thought.

Of course, no politician can be trusted.

I think any news outlet that will fabricate a story based on unverifiable anonymous sources has already decided that it's going to be a hit piece. I don't expect to see any positive stories about the NRA outside of the pages of American Rifleman during this election cycle, which is basically hit piece season. (Not that the election year propaganda machine stopped after the last one, but now... go buy a hat, and get ready to hold on to it.)

Tying the NRA to Donald is a mistake, if they take a position on the impeachment hearings. If they offer an opinion on the matter, they truly brand themselves just as a GOP organization.
    Too late.

I think they did that when they spent 30 million to get Trump elected.
In the P-F basket of deplorables.

Too lazy to look through the thread, did anyone share the article about Wayne giving his niece a remote work, NRA job?

Well, nepotism is all the rage these days, is it not?
There's nothing civil about this war.

The NRA has now dropped a lawsuit against San Francisco for labeling the organization a terrorist and discouraging city contractors from having any ties to them.

    https://www.newsmax.com/newsfront/sa.../07/id/940709/

Both sides are spinning this as a victory, but in the absence of some significant additional details, I don't see how the NRA achieved anything that could possibly make this less chilling to current and prospective city contractors.

I wonder if they are starting to feel the pinch of the loss of donations combined with irresponsible spending?
