Sent $100 to the 2nd Amendment Foundation today. At least I can feel good about that.

@Dan Lehr, (sadly) I see nothing in your post to disagree with.

    Is It SAF?

"Wayne, darlin'...I've thought it over. And I want Mas!"

"I don't always steal other men's women. But when I do, I make my shots count."

(The above represents sarcasm and the depraved mind of the poster. No actual humans were injured or maimed in this particular fantasy.)

There's nothing civil about this war.

Thanks to WLP, it may be hard to do, but the NRA should focus on what a candidate stands for rather than which party that candidate is in. If Donnie-Jr gets in, it's going to be worse. If the NRA is seen as a wholly-owned subsidiary of GOP, Inc., then there's no incentive for anyone on the other side of the aisle to work with them. Politicizing a civil right to the point that it's only identified with one party seems to me to be a good way to lose it.

Given the Trump's agreed to a settlement barring them from working with all charities, Trump Jr. As President would likely expose him to criminal liability.

Simply put, there is not set of circumstances where the head of the NRA should have spent 270k on clothing paid for by the membership. At 5k a suit 20x=100k. 20 shirts at 500=10k. 20 ties at 500=10k. 20 pairs of shoes at 2000=40k. 40k more in hankies, belts, coats and a watch or three etc and you are still only at 200k and my price per item is on the high side even for royalty and billionaires.

Nor is there a set of circumstances in which the NRA should be paying 13k+ for one intern’s housing for one summer when the cultural norm might be to put them in a dorm at maybe a third of that all in with a meal plan.

Not another dime until WLP and the vast majority of the BOD are gone.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend?

With Biden Admin coming we're going to have an awfully rough road ahead. Is the general consensus to still oppose the NRA and its leadership?
