Not surprising. LaPierre testified recently that many on the board did not authorize or were not even aware of the petition until after it was filed.

So either WLP is keeping the Board in the dark, the Board is not doing its job, or both.
That is a very well-written blog. The chapter 11 filing combined with the multiple public statements that the NRA is financially as strong as ever seems like really poor planning and poor internal coordination resulting from desperation.
