Just like it says the floodlight is now available for the tlr1. I’m glad i waited since I run a tlr1hl on my work gun it will be nice to have a holster I can run with a bunch of different guns.

Probably my next holster purchase. I have a TLR1HL because I’m a poor. Lol.
Well that and I like it.
I wonder if it is slimmer than the version for the X300U?
Does anyone actually use the version for the X300U? ‘Tis a chunky beast.
Retar’d LE. Kinesthetic dufus.
Don’t tread on volcanos!
To resurrect this, is anyone rolling with a Phster Floodlight? Is it practical for IWB?
I have both and use them both for AIWB with a VP9. I find the TLR version to be slightly more comfortable because the light portion of the holster does not extend as far below the belt line than the X300 version. I wear mine a little closer to 1:30 than to 12:00, so when seated, the X300U version can rub a bit on my thigh. I prefer the Floodlight to a non-light-compatible holster as it seems to spread the pressure of the holster out across a larger area (see the LEGO principle as explained by Matt Jacques). I usually have one of V Dev Group’s flat muzzle pads on the holster for just a little bit of cushion. Both of my holsters are set up with DCC clips.
I AIWB carry a Floodlight TLR regularly, including last summer. I'm a tall lanky guy with a 42" waist. I don't find it much more difficult to conceal in casual clothes than my much smaller PX4c in a JMCK holster, though the latter obviously allows me to wear more fitted clothes. I can't speak to the 3-4 o'clock carry.
I believe the Floodlight TLR's tapered profile around the light helps the muzzle end to slide laterally towards the centerline while sitting, whereas the X300 holsters just jab me in the thigh. I haven't tried the Floodlight X300 specifically so I can't say if this applies to to it, but I have tried a couple of other high quality X300 AIWB holsters where that was definitely a problem for me.
I recognize and acknowledge Tom Givens' data that I am highly unlikely to need a WML as a "civilian defender." OTOH, I find it convenient that one gun can fill the roll as carry gun and WML equipped nightstand gun.

Forgot to add some context: I’m 6’, 180lbs, 32” waist, and a little bit of a gut. I carry the Floodlight and a JMC AIWB mag carrier on a Graith Specialist. I typically wear button-front shirts that are not particularly baggy, but not snug-fitting, either.
I also have a non-light-bearing JMC Wing Claw 2.0 for the VP9, and it conceals about the same for me as the Floodlight, although it is a bit more comfortable when seated. I do prefer the wider-spaced clips on the JMC holster, as they allow for more flexibility in positioning the holster as compared to the Floodlight.
