Once at the jailhouse we had a yankee who said he played hockey for Minnesota for eight years. That confused me because of eligibility rules. Then I figured out that he was playing for the Minnesota pen. He said that the competition was so keen that when they played another prison team, the guards would start crap with each other. He also said that in one game the referee hit a player with a hockey stick. The con had more scars than Frankenstein.
The Coyotes beat the Capitols at their arena in a shootout. Final 4-3 Go Yotes!

I almost went to the game, I turned down free tickets. Had a meeting with customers I’d already put off once and rescheduled for tonight, I didn’t want to reschedule again. But I thought about it for a minute.

Blues and Yotes tonight. Nothing personal @ coyotesfan97 but I’m obviously hoping to run your losing streak up to 4 games (and extend the Blues win streak to 9).
I didn’t figure the Blues would be up by 8 points in the Central, especially without Tarasenko. But in 2 weeks we could be barely hanging on to a wild card. Thaaat’s sports.
I also figured the Coyotes for sleepers this year. There’s still time.

I can sympathize. I waited 38 years for the Blues to win while all our rivals in the Central won, along with Johnny-come-lately Tampa, Ottawa, and Carolina.

Go Yotes! I’m happy with Coyotes so far. It’s a tight race in the Pacific. If the Yotes had beat VGK the other night they’d be first. It should be a great game.
