    Here’s something to contemplate the next time you look at your night sights or watch

    "According to a 1996 report from Institute for Energy and Environmental Research on the US Department of Energy, only 496 lbs of tritium had been produced in the United States from 1955 to 1996. Since it continually decays into helium-3, the total amount remaining was about 165 lbs at the time of the report."

    I thought the Israeli reactors were the primary generators of tritium these days. My understanding was it was not harvested from any domestic reactors anymore.
