This forum has an especially deep hatred for cancer.
We had to put our beloved Border Collie to sleep on Tuesday. She had started to have seizures/strokes and the suspected diagnosis was a brain tumor/cancer. This was a dog that Todd had described as “doing calculus when she looked at you” so losing mental function was especially hard. The last few months have been hard with her losing coordination but we thought it was just aging. Now that we know she had a tumor it all make more sense how she could go from chasing frisbees to not being able to get up almost overnight.
Hold your pooches tight you might loose them before you suspect it.
